Shopify migration

Magento or WooCommerce to Shopify migration

You stay in business. We move the shop. Zinzo leads your move to Shopify, so your team can keep running the business.

Start with a 2-3 week fixed-fee Migration Scan. The fee is credited against the Build.

    The real challenge

Your current shop needs attention. So does the business.

A move from Magento or WooCommerce touches your data, integrations, customer experience and search visibility. You may not have the time or people to manage all of that alongside daily operations. We own the project work, with your decisions and sign-off.

The old shop keeps demanding fixes

Maintenance and workarounds take time away from improving the customer experience and growing the business.

No room for a second full-time project

Your people know the products and operation, but cannot pause their day jobs to coordinate a complex migration.

    Too much is tied together

Product data, order history, integrations, custom rules and SEO all need a considered route to Shopify.

    A controlled move

Three stages. Clear decisions at every step.

We take responsibility for delivery, while you stay in control of the decisions that matter.

    01

    Migration Scan

In 2-3 weeks, we review your shop, data, integrations and SEO. It takes about four hours of your time in total. The fixed fee is credited against the Build.

You get an inventory of what to move, rebuild or drop; an SEO and data risk register with a draft redirect map; and a phased, fixed-price plan.

Decide whether to build, refine the plan, or stay where you are for now. We will give you an honest verdict.

    02

    Fixed-price Build

We build and connect Shopify to the agreed scope. Your current shop and the new store run in parallel while we validate the important journeys and data.

A tested Shopify store, reviewed integrations and a clear switch plan. Your team has one contact person and a fixed weekly half-hour check-in.

You sign off the agreed checks before switching. We switch when the new store is proven, with a rollback window.

    03

    Go-live and aftercare

We support the switch and provide an aftercare retainer from go-live, with traffic and redirect monitoring, fixes and continued improvements.

A live Shopify store with continued support, while your store, data and code remain yours.

Choose the aftercare support that fits your operation. You keep ownership and access to your store and its data.

    Risks, addressed

A move with safeguards, not promises.

We make risks visible, test the new setup and agree how to respond before switching.

    Will we lose search traffic?

We audit important URLs, draft redirect mappings and check technical SEO as part of the plan. These controls reduce avoidable risk, but no agency can guarantee rankings or traffic.

    What about our integrations?

The Scan inventories your integrations and data flows. The Build validates the agreed connections in a parallel run before the switch.

Do we have to switch everything at once?

We phase the work, run stores in parallel and switch only when the new setup is proven. We also agree a rollback window.

    Will custom features disappear?

We classify functionality to move, rebuild or drop. Each choice is made visible in the Scan plan, so you can decide what the new store needs.

Who owns the store after launch?

You own your Shopify store, data and code. We can continue to support it through an aftercare retainer from go-live.

Loints of Holland and Sambalshop are two Magento-to-Shopify migration projects. Their before-and-after figures are still being confirmed.

    Clear commercial terms

Know the plan before you commit to the Build.

The Migration Scan is fixed fee, takes 2-3 weeks and its fee is credited against the Build. The Build is also fixed price, never hourly. We agree its scope and price from the Scan findings.

    Shopify migration questions

Can you protect our SEO when moving to Shopify?

We map SEO and data risks, review important URLs and draft a redirect map. We also check the planned setup before switching. These controls reduce avoidable risk, but rankings and traffic cannot be guaranteed.

Will our shop go offline during the migration?

The current and new shops run in parallel while we validate the agreed journeys and data. We switch when the new store is proven and agree a rollback window. This approach is designed to avoid an untested big-bang launch.

Can you migrate our ERP and other integrations?

The Scan inventories integrations, data flows and dependencies. We agree what to connect in the phased plan, then test the in-scope connections during the Build before switching.

Can Shopify handle our custom pricing rules?

The Scan records the rules and how they are used. We decide whether each should move, be rebuilt or be replaced, then define the agreed solution in the fixed-price Build scope.

How long does a Shopify migration take?

The Migration Scan takes 2-3 weeks. Build timing depends on the scope, data and integrations, so we do not guess a duration before reviewing them. Your Scan delivers a phased plan with proposed dates.

How much time will our team need to spend?

Plan for about four hours of client time in total during the Scan. During the Build, you provide decisions, access and sign-off, with one fixed half-hour weekly check-in.

What if the Scan recommends that we stay where we are?

Then we will say so. You keep the inventory, risk register, draft redirect map and plan, and can decide what to do next without being committed to a Build.

Who owns the Shopify store and code after launch?

You do. The store, data and code stay yours. Optional aftercare is available on retainer from go-live.

Move the shop without taking your team off the business.
