We audit Magento attributes, configurable products, multiple stores and custom modules before defining what to map, rebuild or leave behind. Start with a 2–3 week fixed-fee Migration Scan; its fee is credited toward the Build.
Magento’s catalogue and rules need more than a product export.
Magento can hold distinct product attributes, configurable-product relationships, website and store-view scopes, and module-specific business logic. We inventory how your store actually works, then set out a considered Shopify route with your team’s decisions and sign-off.
Configurable products are more than option labels
We review attribute sets, variation attributes, child SKUs and stock, then agree how each product family should be represented in Shopify.
One Magento installation may serve multiple storefronts
Websites, stores and store views can have different content or configuration scope. We map language, catalogue, pricing and URL differences instead of assuming one store equals one Shopify setup.
Custom modules can carry business-critical rules
We inventory modules, extensions, integrations and rules that affect products, pricing, promotions or customer journeys. Each is assessed to move, replace, rebuild or retire.
Platform documentation
These official references inform the platform checks. Your Scan determines what your store needs.
We take responsibility for delivery, while you stay in control of the decisions that matter.
01
Migration Scan
In 1-3 weeks, we review your shop, data, integrations and SEO. It takes about four hours of your time in total. The fixed fee is credited against the Build.
You get an inventory of what to move, rebuild or drop; an SEO and data risk register with a draft redirect map; and a phased, fixed-price plan.
Decide whether to build, refine the plan, or stay where you are for now. We will give you an honest verdict.
02
Fixed-price Build
We build and connect Shopify to the agreed scope. Your current shop and the new store run in parallel while we validate the important journeys and data.
A tested Shopify store, reviewed integrations and a clear switch plan. Your team has one contact person and a fixed weekly half-hour check-in.
You sign off the agreed checks before switching. We switch when the new store is proven, with a rollback window.
03
Go-live and aftercare
We support the switch and provide an aftercare retainer from go-live, with traffic and redirect monitoring, fixes and continued improvements.
A live Shopify store with continued support, while your store, data and code remain yours.
Choose the aftercare support that fits your operation. You keep ownership and access to your store and its data.
Risks, addressed
A move with safeguards, not promises.
We make risks visible, test the new setup and agree how to respond before switching.
Will we lose search traffic?
We audit important URLs, draft redirect mappings and check technical SEO as part of the plan. These controls reduce avoidable risk, but no agency can guarantee rankings or traffic.
What about our integrations?
The Scan inventories your integrations and data flows. The Build validates the agreed connections in a parallel run before the switch.
Do we have to switch everything at once?
We phase the work, run stores in parallel and switch only when the new setup is proven. We also agree a rollback window.
Will custom features disappear?
We classify functionality to move, rebuild or drop. Each choice is made visible in the Scan plan, so you can decide what the new store needs.
Who owns the store after launch?
You own your Shopify store, data and code. We can continue to support it through an aftercare retainer from go-live.
Clear commercial terms
Know the plan before you commit to the Build.
The Migration Scan is fixed fee, takes 1-3 weeks and its fee is credited against the Build. The Build is also fixed price, never hourly. We agree its scope and price from the Scan findings.

A phased plan with a fixed price before the Build
A fixed weekly half-hour contact during the Build
Aftercare available on retainer from go-live
Your store, data and code stay yours

Magento to Shopify migration questions
How do you handle Magento attributes and configurable products?
The Scan inventories attribute sets, variation options, child products, SKUs and stock relationships. We map representative product families to Shopify and flag any differences that need a decision or a separate implementation. We do not assume every Magento field maps directly.
Can a Magento multi-store setup become one Shopify store?
Magento websites, stores and store views can each have their own scope for entities such as products, attributes, categories or configuration. We document your language, catalogue, pricing and URL differences first, then recommend a Shopify structure. The right result depends on how your stores operate.
Will our Magento modules and pricing rules transfer?
Not automatically. The Scan identifies custom modules, extensions, integrations and business rules, then classifies each as something to map, replace, rebuild or retire. The agreed solution and scope are defined before the fixed-price Build.
What are Shopify’s product CSV limits?
Shopify’s product CSV must be 15 MB or smaller. Larger files can be split into smaller imports, and the data still needs to match Shopify’s CSV format. We check the catalogue structure and test the import rather than treating a CSV as a complete migration.
Can you bring over customer passwords and order history?
Shopify customer CSV imports do not migrate passwords, so customers need a route to create new passwords. Historical orders need a migration app or a planned API import; Shopify documents API order creation for external orders. We assess the required history and data before agreeing a method.
How will you handle old Magento URLs?
We inventory important URLs, map them to relevant Shopify destinations and prepare redirect rules for review. Shopify supports importing URL redirects by CSV. Redirects are part of the migration plan, not a guarantee of search rankings or traffic.
