WooCommerce to Shopify migration with a clear plan
We audit WooCommerce variations, WordPress content, plugin data and recurring purchases before defining what to map, rebuild or leave behind. Start with a 2–3 week fixed-fee Migration Scan; its fee is credited toward the Build.
Your store is more than the products in its CSV export.
A WooCommerce store can combine variable products, WordPress pages and posts, media, plugin-specific data and subscription flows. We inventory the pieces your business relies on and plan their destination in Shopify, with your team’s decisions and sign-off.
Variations carry their own product details
WooCommerce variations can have their own price, stock, image and other data. We map parent products, attributes and variation records rather than flattening them into a product list.
Plugins may add fields or product types
Extensions can add custom product data or functionality beyond the core CSV fields. We record active plugins and important metadata, then assess what needs an app, a new implementation or no replacement.
WordPress content and recurring sales need their own plan
Pages, posts and media sit alongside the shop catalogue, while subscriptions involve renewal and payment arrangements. We inventory content URLs and subscription dependencies separately from products.
Platform documentation

We take responsibility for delivery, while you stay in control of the decisions that matter.
01
Migration Scan
In 1-3 weeks, we review your shop, data, integrations and SEO. It takes about four hours of your time in total. The fixed fee is credited against the Build.
You get an inventory of what to move, rebuild or drop; an SEO and data risk register with a draft redirect map; and a phased, fixed-price plan.
Decide whether to build, refine the plan, or stay where you are for now. We will give you an honest verdict.
02
Fixed-price Build
We build and connect Shopify to the agreed scope. Your current shop and the new store run in parallel while we validate the important journeys and data.
A tested Shopify store, reviewed integrations and a clear switch plan. Your team has one contact person and a fixed weekly half-hour check-in.
You sign off the agreed checks before switching. We switch when the new store is proven, with a rollback window.
03
Go-live and aftercare
We support the switch and provide an aftercare retainer from go-live, with traffic and redirect monitoring, fixes and continued improvements.
A live Shopify store with continued support, while your store, data and code remain yours.
Choose the aftercare support that fits your operation. You keep ownership and access to your store and its data.
Risks, addressed
A move with safeguards, not promises.
We make risks visible, test the new setup and agree how to respond before switching.
Will we lose search traffic?
We audit important URLs, draft redirect mappings and check technical SEO as part of the plan. These controls reduce avoidable risk, but no agency can guarantee rankings or traffic.
What about our integrations?
The Scan inventories your integrations and data flows. The Build validates the agreed connections in a parallel run before the switch.
Do we have to switch everything at once?
We phase the work, run stores in parallel and switch only when the new setup is proven. We also agree a rollback window.
Will custom features disappear?
We classify functionality to move, rebuild or drop. Each choice is made visible in the Scan plan, so you can decide what the new store needs.
Who owns the store after launch?
You own your Shopify store, data and code. We can continue to support it through an aftercare retainer from go-live.
Clear commercial terms
Know the plan before you commit to the Build.
The Migration Scan is fixed fee, takes 1-3 weeks and its fee is credited against the Build. The Build is also fixed price, never hourly. We agree its scope and price from the Scan findings.

WooCommerce to Shopify migration questions
How do you migrate WooCommerce variable products?
We map the parent product, attributes and each variation’s SKU, price, stock and relevant imagery to a Shopify product structure, then test representative examples. WooCommerce’s importer supports core product types, but differences in your catalogue still need review before an import is agreed.
Will my WooCommerce plugins and custom fields transfer?
Not as a blanket promise. We inventory plugins, extension-provided product types, custom fields and important metadata. WooCommerce documents that advanced product data or extension product types can need additional import tooling; in the Scan we decide what to map, replace, rebuild or retire.
What happens to WordPress pages, posts and media?
We inventory the pages, posts, media and important URLs your business still needs, then agree how each is recreated or transferred and where it will live in Shopify. Shopify supports URL redirects, including CSV imports, so we can map retired or changed URLs to relevant destinations.
Can active subscriptions and recurring payments move?
We audit subscription products, contract and renewal data, payment methods, gateways and related plugins. Transfer options depend on the data and payment provider; we confirm the route and customer/payment requirements before planning any change to renewals. We do not assume subscription records or payment credentials transfer automatically.
What are Shopify’s product CSV limits?
Shopify’s product CSV must be 15 MB or smaller. Larger files can be split into smaller imports, and the data needs to match Shopify’s CSV format. We check which catalogue data fits that route and identify anything that needs another method.
Can customer passwords and old orders be imported?
Shopify customer CSV imports do not migrate passwords, so customers need a route to create new passwords. Historical orders need a migration app or a planned API import; Shopify documents API order creation for external orders. We scope the required history before selecting a method.
Plan the whole WooCommerce move, not just the product export.
