By 2024, Zinzo has grown from a bold startup into a thriving company with more than 10 talented programmers in our Duhok office in Northern Iraq. Our vision extends beyond current achievements; we aim to grow this office into a local tech hub of over 100 developers. This expansion reflects our commitment to nurturing local talent and fostering innovation in the region.

The Journey Begins
Our story starts in 2011 with the collaboration between Karim, a highly skilled full-stack developer, and Menno, an experienced digital marketer and ecommerce strategist. Together, they tackled numerous digital projects, with Karim often stepping in to rescue Menno’s entrepreneurial ventures. Their synergy led to a pivotal moment at the end of 2022 when they were asked to transform the performance of a complex Magento webshop for LointsofHolland.com. Tasked with improving the site’s speed in just two weeks, Karim and Menno delivered outstanding results, surpassing stakeholder expectations and proving their innovative approach.
This success inspired the creation of Zinzo.com in early 2023, aimed at helping other ecommerce businesses achieve similar success. Initially focusing on performance optimization, Zinzo quickly expanded to offer custom services on WooCommerce, Magento, and Shopify platforms, blending Karim’s technical expertise with Menno’s strategic insight.
